Before
After
Ever since Jamie, my little sis, was diagnosed with cancer I have looked for ways to support her in her life long crusade against cancer. Jamie is very passionate about helping and supporting cancer research and people with cancer, therefore I am too. This month Jamie is doing a walk for cancer in Wisconsin and raised money for this cause. This is her site if you are interested.
For some time I have been wanting to cut my hair and donate it to Locks of Love, a foundation that makes and donates wigs to children suffering from diseases. Jamie just hit her two year cancer-free mark and since there is NO way I am running another marathon for her I thought this would be the next best thing!

What have you done young lady? I must see the finished masterpiece. By the way, are you doing anything with that hair cause I could totally use it on my bald spots!
I totally can't wait to see you at church tomorrow! You are so brave and awesome to donate! Just think of all the money you'll save by only using half the shampoo! I hope you love your new hairdo.
I want to see the finished product!! You are such a great sister to do that!
yeah ok, I guess that cause is a lot better than mine. You're a good sister.
You are such a great person. But now what am I going to do, I was growing my hair out to be like you! I also want to see an after picture.
GASP!! I havn't heard from you in a few weeks and you've gone and cut your hair?!? WHO are you?!?! ;)
Good for you. This is a much better reason to cut your hair that the one we discussed. I miss you!! The invitation to Maine still stands, although I haven't bought the tickets yet... oops. Love you!!
Er. I HATE when I spell something wrong and post it. I know "haven't" has an "e". I'm not an idiot, you know....
