Happy New Years!

We had a huge snow storm to help us bring in 2008.
I am all about lists so I had already started my list of resolutions about a week ago. I always write my resolutions in my journal so it was kind of fun to look back and see how many of them I accomplished or didn't in 2007. I like to reflect on the last year and remember all the great blessings we have been given. I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful things in my life. I love living in Michigan and more importantly love all the amazing friends we have made. Everywhere we go we run into people we know that have become our friends and family. On a daily basis I am inspired by ALL my friends to become a better person and it feels so wonderful to be associated with those type of people. I love knowing my friends are happy for our successes and love us more for our shortcomings.
My sister-in-law decided instead of resolutions she would have a theme for 2008. I really liked her theme it is, "does it really matter...and DO those things that really matter". So I have decided to pick a theme as well. I love this quote, by one of the general authorities, it reads something like this "Leave people better than you found them." So that is it. That is my theme.
Thank you for being a part of our lives. We can not wait for 2008!

I am grateful you are my friend!

Oh Britt, You are my inspiration! I still use your quote that you always said while we lived together at college, "You never know what has happened in someone's life to make them who/how they are." -Were'd you get that anyway? I think it came from someone else.
