Our Angel

January 4th marked 8 years since our perfect daughter Taylor passed away. Every year we get one pink balloon for every year old she would have been and let the boys send them to heaven.
I strongly believe we become who we are through our trials. I am the person I am today because of the experiences I have had. I remember when I only had the strength to cry, then I became the shoulder someone else can cry on because I was once that person. I am so grateful to know my daughter is waiting for me and that we have eternity to be together. I am so grateful that I have two angel children on earth and amazing husband who walks beside me through life. The knowledge of the gospel is my most treasured possession. I don't know what I would do without it.

Hey Brittney. I didn't know that you had lost a daughter. I am so sorry. I do totally agree with what you said about our trials. I am grateful for mine as well, but I am still sorry that you had to go through such a sad experience.

I am glad to be in touch, and I love the DHS blog idea. Hopefully we can get more people to join.

So... I get on the computer because it's just another day, and now I am crying from this blog. You are such a strong and amazing person. I knew from the first time we hung out (NOT the first time I saw you, seeing as though I thought you were a snob!! HA!) I will never forget the time you sat on your couch and read me the poem and saw the pictures and her little identical foot. I knew you were a person I wanted in my life. I value your friendship more than you know. I love you!!
Oops, another long comment...

I love that tradition...I hope you do it always. (I am glad Gage was okay doing it when Adam got home).

That's a really neat "tradition" to do with your kids. What an awesome way to teach them about their sister on the other side and keep them connected to her in a way. Very sweet!

When are you coming to Arizona so you can stay with me and we can talk. I also am a big looser for not getting you my Dad's CD, I have GOT to do that. Will you please email me your address again, I'm sorry!!! You have to come see the exhibit in the Temple that Mark did. My Dad did all the music for it and it is so incredible. COME SEE ME SOON....
